Lama Accounting Inc. started its operation of tax and accounting services on January 1, 2006. The company is incorporated in the states of New York and Massachusetts and the head office is based in Jackson Heights, NY. Lama Accounting Inc. received its official Registered Trademark name on March 31, 2009 from the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is now enabled to conduct franchise business as Lama Accounting® everywhere in the United States. The Company’s Trademark registration number is 3596969.

Accordingly, Lama Accounting is serving small and medium sized companies throughout the five Boroughs on a daily basis seven days a week. Mr. Namgel Lama, Founder of Lama Accounting, makes it his primary goal to serve his valuable clients every day and for them to have full satisfaction in attaining their financial goals (maximizing profits) and saving (tax planning) . Mr. Lama received numerous degrees including:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting – Berkeley College (2001)
- Intermediate of Science – Amrit Science College (1993)
Mr. Lama received his Master of Business Administration from Berkeley College in 2018. He has taken the CPA Examination of Auditing, Financial Reporting in 2001 and Taxation in 2005. He has been utilizing his accounting skills since 1999 in privately held companies in New York city. Mr. Lama worked with Stuart Ditsky CPA in 2001 and utilized accounting skills at Acolyte Technology for two years as a Director of Accounting Department. He also worked at Simpson Personnel Services for five years as a Director of Accounting Department prior to opening his own practice. In addition, Mr. Lama already served as a Treasurer of Tamang Society of America for four years, which is a private, non-profit, non-political organization.
Mr. Lama served as a Treasurer in Pack 201 branch of Boys Scout of America for two years.
Mr. Lama is currently serving as a Treasurer at Tamang Society of North America Inc since January of 2018.
Mr. Lama is currently serving as a member of Internal Audit Committee at Non-Resident Nepali Association, National Coordination Council-USA (NRN NCC USA) since 2019
